Linux - Step by Step

1. Edit file /etc/resolv.conf
   
   
2. Remove all lines that contains the keyword nameserver, but not your local DNS entry.
   
   
3. Add the following lines to this file:
   
   
   nameserver 217.146.139.5 nameserver 62.157.101.211
   
   
4. Save changes to the file and then return to the command line shell.
   
   
5. Use "killall -1 [service]" to send the SIGHUP signal to refresh the config of services (e.g. sendmail)
